Ham Broth

Ingredients

  • Left over ham bone
  • Trimmings from left over ham
  • 1 Large Carrot
  • 1 Celery Stalk
  • 1/2 Large Onion
  • 4 Pepper corns
  • 1 Clove
  • 6 cups Water

Directions

  1. Chop carrot, celery and onion into 1 inch pieces
  2. Add ham bone and trimmings, vegetables, pepper corns, clove and water to a pot
  3. Simmer for two to three hours
  4. Strain broth from solids
