Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 350 f
  2. Cream butter and sugar
  3. Add egg yolks and mix
  4. Add Dark Rum and mix
  5. Combine flour and salt
  6. Add to wet mixture gradually while mixing
  7. Knead with dough hook for 4 minutes
  8. Grease an 8 inch spring form pan
  9. Press dough into place evenly and smooth top with a spoon
  10. Score top with a fork in the classic pattern
  11. Combine egg yolk and water to make an egg wash
  12. Brush the top of the dough with the egg wash
  13. Bake in a middle rack for 40 minutes
