Split the dates in half length wise
Place dates in a bowl and pour hot water over the dates and let stand for 4 minutes
Drain and dry the dates
In a food processor add the dates, peanut butter and salt
Grind to a smooth paste
Remove about 40% of the paste into a bowl
Add the oat flour the food processor and pulse until the flour is completely incorporated
Remove the flour paste mixture onto a sheet of wax paper
Cover with another sheet of wax paper and roll out to a 1/2 inch thick rectangle
Top with the remaining paste and smooth to an even top layer
Top with the peanuts and lightly press the nuts into the top paste layer
Place in the freezer for 30-40 minutes
Temper your favorite chocolate
Cut the candy into bars of your desired size
Turn the bars over and cover the bottoms with the tempered chocolate
Place the bars in the fridge for 5 minutes
Turn the bars over and cover the tops and sides with chocolate
Chill
