====== Norwegian Whole Wheat Bread ====== ===== Ingredients ===== * 500 ml of warm water. * 2 tablespoons of sugar. * 8 g dry yeast. * 400 g of whole wheat * 2 teaspoons of salt. * 400 grams of bread flour. * 50 ml of vegetable oil. ===== Instructions ===== - Mix water, sugar and yeast - Cover and leave for 5 minutes for the yeast to dissolve. - Sift whole wheat flour, bread flour through a sieve into a separate bowl. - Add salt and mix well. - Combine water mixture with the flour - Add vegetable oil and combine - Knead dough in machine for 8 minutes - Lubricate the bowl with vegetable oil. - Cover and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rise. - Bread pans (20 cm x 11 cm) for baking grease with vegetable oil. - Divide into 2 parts. - Roll them into a ball. - Cover and leave for 20 minutes. - Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 cm (3/4 inch). - Roll up into a tube. - Pin the edges. - We repeat the same process. - Cover and leave for another 20 minutes. - Lubricate with water. - Sprinkle them with flour. - Place on rack to cool.
