====== Date and Peanut Bars ======

====== Ingredients ======
  * 170 g pitted dates
  * 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  * pinch of salt
  * 100 g oat flour
  * 60 g peanuts - roasted and salted
  * 100 g chocolate

===== Instructions =====

  - Split the dates in half length wise
  - Place dates in a bowl and pour hot water over the dates and let stand for 4 minutes
  - Drain and dry the dates 
  - In a food processor add the dates, peanut butter and salt
  - Grind to a smooth paste
  - Remove about 40% of the paste into a bowl
  - Add the oat flour the food processor and pulse until the flour is completely incorporated
  - Remove the flour paste mixture onto a sheet of wax paper
  - Cover with another sheet of wax paper and roll out to a 1/2 inch thick rectangle
  - Top with the remaining paste and smooth to an even top layer
  - Top with the peanuts and lightly press the nuts into the top paste layer
  - Place in the freezer for 30-40 minutes
  - Temper your favorite chocolate
  - Cut the candy into bars of your desired size
  - Turn the bars over and cover the bottoms with the tempered chocolate
  - Place the bars in the fridge for 5 minutes
  - Turn the bars over and cover the tops and sides with chocolate
  - Chill
